Diligently, your pontificate has understood with what fervor your son, the most serene Emperor, and we have acted from the beginning. We have never ceased to do what pertains to the strengthening of divine religion. For this reason, we recently sent the most reverend priests to Rome so that a complete settlement could be made on the chapters over which there was some doubt.
But we are unaware of what difficulty has arisen that the issues, which appear to be the most minor, have not yet been resolved. Therefore, greeting your reverence, we request that no opportunity be provided for anyone to doubt your will, but rather, having the judgment of the supreme majesty before your eyes, may you be deemed worthy to hasten in every way.
